McLaren Vale's biggest Gorgeous Festival ever

It's been a busy past few weeks for us here at Chilli Chocolate, as we've been busy providing online marketing and event management services to one of the Fleurieu's most popular events, Gorgeous Festival in McLaren Vale.  I'll do a proper blog post soon, but I'll just leave this here...

The numbers are in, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls; Gorgeous Festival 2014 was the most well-attended of all the Gorgeous Festivals to date by a ridiculous margin.

The 2014 Riverland Wine and Food Festival - huge success!

I have had the privilege of acting as the Event Manager for the Riverland Wine and Food Festival for the past two years, and Chilli Chocolate Marketing is both a sponsor and the provider of digital engagement services to the event.

This year's festival - the "RWFF" to aficionados - was a huge success, boasting increased numbers over 2013 (which itself was up on 2012) without a single problem incident. I'll post some more bits of info over days to come as we learned some really interesting things; in the meantime, here is an album of photos to give you a sense of RWFF 2014 :)

Chilli Chocolate Oreo Balls

ballsOkay you have probably all seen the recipe for Oreo Balls, I think I saw it initially on Facebook. I remember thinking when I first read it "now that is simple but how would it taste". As my mum would say I had an epiphany last night and got up and made Orio balls today but dipped them in chilli chocolate instead of ordinary chocolate ... OH MY WORLD are they good! 1 x Packet Oreos 1 x Block Philadelphia Cream Cheese 2 x Block Lindt Chilli Chocolate

Bash the oreos with a potato masher, add the softened cream cheese & mix together. Roll into balls, cover the balls in melted chilli chocolate & pop in the fridge until the chocolate hardens.

Try not to eat them all!
